Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. Oh my!

I finally caved in and got myself a Cricut machine. I am surprised at myself that it took me this long to find this item a necessity in my craft collection. I am literally a Michael’s store. I have 6 cartridges now and I already see the craze that sparks when getting a new cartridge and/or even seeing the newest cartridge come out. It’s a whole new addiction.
Since I am way beyond in all this, I created a wish list of carts that I want and of course, these specific carts have specific needs that I now must have to create and explore my creativity. Clothes are necessity for others like crafts are a necessity to me. J
I explored all the different cartridges out there and the one that I am sadden to see go is the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cart. I think it’s completely different from all the other carts that they have. Sure other carts have boxes and certain tags but this one has it all. Well, to make matters worse, this particular cartridge is retired! To my dismay, I search and search for the cheapest price and with no success. I am very frugal with paying for cartridges full ridiculous price ($89.99/$69.99) so I search eBay, amazon, Craigslist for this particular one. I even search the cricut message board to find out the ins and outs of this cart that I have missed these past years. So either I found it sold out/out of stock or they were selling it for a crazy price. I even heard you can find that one at Big Lots. Well luck for me, I went and bought 2 of mine there so I go to their site and look up every single Big Lots that is closest to me. It took forever and I called at least 10 locations, even stores an hour from me. Some stores were helpful than others. 2 stores said they don’t sell them at all. They sell the carts for $30 so I was very adamant in finding it in stores. I am not partial in buying things online. I just can’t stand paying shipping and handling. I know it’s vital because shipping is not cheap but that part makes me wary and I’m one of those people who goes to the online checkout just to see how much shipping will be and at the moment when I see it changes whether or not you (the store) gets my money or not.
Luckily for me, I finally caved in and purchased it at www.scrapbookpal.com. They had the greatest price on Cricut cartridges and have this deal where spend $25 or more get free shipping. I am quite excited. Since I bought it during the weekend, I am quite sure to get it today which I am off work today so hopefully I get to play with it for the rest of the day. I will definitely post the items that I create with it for all to see.
So, what’s my next need that I need? Life’s a beach cart. We are throwing my daughter a pirate party at the beach so it would be perfect. A necessity? Of course

Still trying to get my husband to buy me a cricut machine...

Went to Philly last weekend and hung out with good friends. Did some shoots, ate breakfast with Nathan Novak at this place called City Lite Cafe(?), ate more food from City View Pizza, and...well, did some more shoots. The hubby got in trouble with the law in Philly. Will return probably in July to shoot one last time for the year before taking a break and preparing to bring another child into this world.

I realize that I don't write much on here. Maybe it's pointless?

Here's a photo done by Davood Salek.

Went to Mahi Mahi tonight for dinner with my hubby. He made a good point about how I should be a dessert critic. So with that being said, beware! I am a picky eater when it come to the final course of the meal. I'm big on plaintains, creme brulee, and lemon meringue pie.

I will be traveling to Philly sometime soon. Being next month or March. Will mostly be looking to hang out with friends and paint the city pink. But if you wish to work with me, please let me know. You'll have to contact me through Model Mayhem. After that, I will be taking a year off.
